Morning and afternoon sessions went by quickly and after so many technical/professional presentations, everybody was looking forward to the social part of the day.
The motor ship "Rheinfähre Grafenwerth" was ready for boarding by 6 pm at the pier in Bad Honnef. The Captain welcomed all his passengers and set sail to Unkel upstream the Rhine. The journey took us approximately half an hour under blue sky and bright sunshine.
Unkel, a medieval township, invited for a stroll through its narrow lanes and historic buildings. Interested participants could also take part in a guided tour, before we all met again at "Weinhaus zur Traube" for food, beer and wine.
Shortly after 10 pm the anchor was lifted and we returned back to Bad Honnef along the shoreline of the river Rhine. Some of the photos will tell you, where and when the party came to an end.
